The Journey Project Philosophy
There is no single “right” way to raise children.
Every child is different. Every family is different. Every person caring for a child brings their own life experience, strengths, pressures and hopes.
We live in a world filled with advice, opinions and expectations, and it can often feel like there’s a “right” way to raise children, and that if you’re struggling, you’re somehow getting it wrong.
The Journey Project starts from the belief that families don’t need more pressure, perfection or “one-size-fits-all" advice.
They need practical tools, gentle reassurance and support that meets them where they are. At its heart, The Journey Project is about creating a range of tools, resources and supports, so families can choose what feels useful, relevant and right for them.

Every family finds their own way
We create tools and resources that meet families where they are, not where they “should” be.
We’re just getting started
The Journey Project is proudly developed by Communicare, a not-for-profit organisation supporting communities and families for over 40 years.
We’re launching with our first product, Good Enough Parenting Cards practical suggestions for real-life parenting moments, because good enough is enough.
Over time, The Journey Project will grow to include more tools, resources, products and support options for families at different stages of raising children.
Every purchase helps support the development of more accessible tools, resources and initiatives for families and everyone caring for children.
This is just the beginning of the journey.
